So you would like to know a little more about me?

 

I am way more comfortable working behind the camera. I started as a writer, then entered into a producer role. Directing films came with the writing and producing. Filmmaking is such a fulfilling creative activity. There is literally no other thing I can do that will allow me this much creativity and freedom. I can think of an idea, put it into a medium that will allow me to show the world my imagination. Filmmaking is such an amazing super power!

While filmmaking and video are my main focuses, photography is another area I work in. I have done headshots, weddings and (my favorite) landscapes/nature photography. I love to travel for photography. National Parks will always have my heart. I grew up in the State of Maine here in the USA. So forests, mountains and the ocean always make me feel at home. Photographing scenery like that is such a relaxing experience.

I have recently started work on a podcast with fellow filmmaker and friend of over 10 years, Julia Tutko-Balena, about everything filmmaking. So stay tuned for more information on that!
